Helping White Dog wipe out canine cancer!!!

Woofs all, hope all is well wiff u...and u gettin excited that santa paws iz comin...we will do a update on mama tomorrow...we thought this wuz very important...

1st). Thanks so much for all the outpouring of love and support from all of u..doggies, kitties, rabbits-dogs, hammies and hoomans..and all we forgot to mention..we appreciate each and every one of u..

2nd). We didnt get the good news we wanted to hear...The specialist does not think mama can survive the surgery to remove the bad part in her lung...her lungs r very weak..they told her years ago that her lungs were like those of someone 20 years older..She also has supicious nodules in her lymphnodes in the middle of her chest....sooo that leaves radiation and chemo..her primary dr is setting up appointments to talk to each of those drs..we figure it will start next week..we will let u know more about how long she needs to have it, when we know more...If any of u have ever had radiation or chemo, she would like to know what to expect..we r not sure if she is suppose to keep the appt to check her thyroid or not..mama read somewhere that the chemo would interfere with it..sooo we have to check on that..mama says she will fight with everything she has to beat this, and some of u on facebook let her know it wasnt just her fight, u all would b beside her..for this, she is so very appreciative..ok, till the nexxt update..

The outpouring of love fur mama has been fantastic, and we all thank you very much!!

Figured we better let all of u nos what is going on...Mama's dr called her Friday, and they set up an appt with a lung, heart, etc specialist...its Wed the 9th...the PET test showed something in the middle of her chest, beside the cancer on her left lung...this appt is to c if she can have the surgery.

when we hear anything new we will pass onto u all...thanks for caring..

My mama's cancer!!!

We a little behind right now, blame mama, we almost 400 behind in bloggie readings....Me is gonna let mama explain what is going on wiff us..

Hi all,

so sorry i am so far behind in stuff...but here goes.....As some of u know, around 2 years ago they found nodules in my left lung..(i have several little ones and one pretty big one) .i was having ct-scans every 3 months to make sure they weren't growing....i did well and then they started letting me go 6mts between ct-scans...The last scan showed the one big one was growing....i was scheduled for a lung biopsy, i got the results last monday....it is cancer...this tuesday the 1st i am to have a full body PET scan...My friend joan of the moondancehuskies, says it is prolly to c if it has spread anywhere else...My doctor is also checking my thyroid, after a ultrasound, it shows i have a nodule...the test for it is scheduled for the 17th of Dec...I will prolly get the results from the PET test next Monday..and then i guess we decide where to go from there...i guess it all rides on what that test sh0ws..I have my good days and i have my bad days...thanks to u all that have given me support and love...and a special thanks to Snowballs jie jie, Joan, Astas mommie, the sundogs of texas mom, butchy and angel snickers mama, the op pack's mom, my farmer friends in facebook that keep me busy so i wont think to much..geesh sooo many of u have helped..and i thank each and every one of u....I will let u all know what the PET says....

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you that celebrate it and happy day to those that dont..Today is the day when we remember all we need to b thankful for...our freedom, our family and friends (both furry and not)...we also must give (if we can) to others not as fortunate..and remember those that have lost family, friends and furkids...this is a sad season for some, so we need to lend a shoulder to them...

we will get our tributes to our angel dogs up tomorrow, then this weekend sometime, mama has had some sad news we need to tell u about...

Mama just wanted to say, she feels sooo bad that she has neglected to make cards for all our friends..her puter is screwy and the screen gets outta shape and its hard to make them now..but now i thinks she has learned a new way..and she has a bad bad bad sinus infection (go to dr tomorrow), if u ever had a sinus infection that settles in the bones of ur face, u know what she is dealing with..her mind is thinkin worse than usual...

and she also wanted to say, thank you very much for all the comments she got when her sister died...you will never know how much it meant to her...a special thanks to Asta's mama, the Moondance huskies mama, and Sunny and Scooters mama and Ms Snowball's Jie Jie...and Marvin's Jeannie..and to mary, jena, becky for putting her to work in farmtown to take her mind off of things..hmm she better get this posted b4 the day is over...

Brad has not made it to c her yet...he was on a special mission for the navy when he was told...None of us really know where he is..(the military is very secretive about that, not even his wife knows where he is) Niece thinks either New York or PA....and something about the plane ride home...cant get connections..i have no idea..just wish he could make it home...Her condition is the same, kept alive by life support..will add more when i hear...Thanks for all the love u have shown us...

my mama is very very sad today...her only sister, her only sibling, is in the hospital on life support in ICU...Her niece talked with the dr today, so far she has died 3 times and brought back to life...She is not expected to live through the nite, her boby funtions are shutting down..Her niece wants to keep her alive until her son Brad (who is in the navy and stationed in VA), can make it home..we will say more later, this is about all mama can type with tears in her eyes..

I dont know if some of our new members has gotten to meet Charlie and his sis Opy or not...but they are the reason DWB exist..without them, we wouldnt have got to meet sooo many pups, kitties, hammies, horsies, bunnies, and birdies from all over the world...and formed friendships that will never die..

I encourage all of u that didnt no him to go and catch up on his bloggie, esp, the time last year when he needed a pacemaker to help him live...

To Opy, Greg and Brooke, our thoughts are with u, u gave him the best life u could.. and he loved u for that...

now fur sum serious stuffs...if you git the news thingy on ur bloggie or u has seen it on another bloggie..we thanked all of our foster pawents, transporters, and the ones that work so hard in getting homes for our "furkids"...It all started when we visited Thoughts Fur Paws bloggie...they had a prayer fur all of the lonesome, neglected ones that never found homes here on earth...and listed on the post wuz a link fur a dog rescue person..well, we visit u all, then when we c in ur comments or on ur friends list sum "furkid" we havent meeted b4, we go and visit them...That happened last nite, when we visited the dog rescue person, sumone had left a comment and we went to visit them..not sure what her name is, but she is a cat rescuer....She is their last chance, she visits them when they are on death row, and running out of time..Sum she can save and sum she cant..would u please go visit her...shes at "House of the Discarded"..(Khyra, have kleenex handy, all of u have kleenex handy..we as we saided b4 visited her last nite and have had leaky eyes since)

Roxy and Ms Snickers and Rocky (not me, but another handsome pup), cant git rid of them..please show ur support fur these pups...I wont put the link fur roxy or ms snickers, its in the post below this one, but i will put the one fur rocky on...

Now mama wants to tell u sumthing...yeah, its about me...

ok, lol, rocky iz a tough little guy, not much bothers him (but cats and squeeerls)..we've had fireworks going off since a day b4 the 4th, not problem..he didnt need any meds or the shirt we read about sum of u using..nooo problem...butttt fur last nite...the power company had called and left a message on the answering machine..they wood b doing maintenance i thought thursday and friday..as it turns out it was 12midnite last nite...sooo we were not prepared, no candles and a flashlight with cood b better batteries..

we have a low watt street light beside our mobile home, so its never really dark dark...u can make ur way, by the shadows...well, mannnnnnnn it was dark when all the lites were out..soo we all went to bed...do u know u hear ever noise when its dark...welllll, rocky musta heard more than we did...he laid on the bed doing the lowwwww growls..for about 20 mins i listen to that..lol then i got up and hunted what candles i could find, which was hardly none...soo there i sat, with my little hero beside me to protect me..lights came back in.. about 45 mins later!!!

As u all prolly no by now, this is Laska, and he is missing....

We have had a very sad week here at DWB...We dont nos where to start..

This bute ti ful girl, is our friend Dakota...we have been worried about her for awhile now..and yesterday her pawents made the ultimate sacrifice, she's a puppy now, running and playing, and all those illnesses she had are all gone...Its her family we have to take care of now...they have a big hole in their hearts that will take time to close..and never will entirely...we will miss ur bute til ful smile and ur blue, blue eyes..

This is Kaiser, a gentle giant...We have been following him and his Zoo Crew for awhile now too...Poor boy, fought sooo hard to live....We can c him now, playing with our other angels, he prolly wins all the races they have at the bridge..

This is Rocky aka the Rock Star...sadly to say, we didnt meet him till after he went to the bridge....From his bloggie it looks like he had a wonderful life, with a family who loved him dearly...always makes us sad, when one of us leaves that we havent met yet...He will b missed....

Please visit their families and give them our love and support....RIP Dakota, Kai, and Rocky==run with the wind!!
