Tail wags,

That is just not right. You should call back and ask to talk to a manager and see if you can get those charges waived. If you have a good payment history with them, they should do that for you.

Thank you for the kind blogger award! I really appreciate it.

Hi Mates
Sorry I haven't been in touch. Mum is still lagging behind and I still can't type. Mum is going to put a Missing Pets slide show on my blog soon when her brain works better. She wants to try to link it to the doggie websites if she can do this. Take good care of yourselves.

Go to your bill and read the part about if you do not agree with the bill. Usually you have to write them a letter, send it certificated mail with return request. As long as you are contesting the bill you do not have to pay it. Make sure you keep copies of everything.

Hi, Claudette -

Thanks for the warning. I don't have a g-mail account (except the school has one which I never use). But I definitely will look at my bills more closely. Hopefully you will not have to pay those extra charges and get everything resolved in your favor.

Love -

Claudette, there is an authority who is in charge of online scams. I think you should report this case.

If you are me, I would have disputed this amount. Did you tell them that you do not want them to take in request via email for any additional services and if you needed any new services, you will call in.

Did you give the same email address to your Telco company? Can you get from them the email that they claimed that you have sent? Take a look at this email to see if you can guess who this culprit could be.

This person who did this must have your contact number in order to that right? Get all the details and try to find out more so that you dun have to keep wondering what had happened.

Jie jie worked in a Telco company before so she knows that the company should have all this records as proves for the company to start charging you and you have the rights to request to look at the email when any dispute arises and if you can prove that this subscription is a scam, you dun have to pay for it.

That's very scary - have you notified to gmail about it? I hope that they are on top of it because gmail has always seemed so safe to us!

Did someone actually get into your account or did someone fake your email address? That is easily done. Like when you receive junk mail "from yourself." It is auto sorted into good mail but not actually from our address if you can get into properties to see where it returns to. They should still have the email that ordered it and should be able to view the properties to see where it actually came from. They probably just don't want to.

We're sorry this happened to you. That would be a shock!

If you were charged on your local phone bill for third party services and subscriptions that you never authorized, share your story with other consumers:

You can also contact class action lawyers who are investigating unauthorized telephone bill charges:
