Dear Members and Friends,
Michelle Obama announced on TV this week that her family will adopt – not buy – a dog after the elections. That’s an example I hope other Americans will follow. Then rescue pets everywhere will be the real winners! (And to the 50,000 of you who signed Best Friends successful petition, thank you.)Just thought u all wood b interested in this...sure hope it helps all the furkids in shelters or rescues git a pawsome home...

Foley, Dawson and I think shelter dogs are the best. We all ended up here with Grammie via the shelter. Clara was a shelter cat and Edgar was stray kitten.
