March 19th, 2008!!

Today is a very sad day here at the "Hudson Furkids"...It marks the 2 year anniversary we lost Lacylulu...I miss her like it was yesterday the vet called to tell us she didnt make it through her surgery...She was one of the sweetest little dogs we ever had..always trying to please u...and she did...Luv u, my baby girl!!!

we got a new puter and mama had already save the piksures she wanted to use in our old one..me finally got her butt in gear to find them again and put them in this one...they r the 1st 2 piksures in it...

it is with sadness me has to say we has 2 new angels to watch over us..Crystal was a cool kitty me would have liked to play chase with...and Sharkie had to keep Deetz and the kitten in line...

they will both b missed!!!

RIP Ziggy, run with the wind!!

Its very sad when we lose a friend...We lost Ziggy not long ago...He loved his girl, his family, Pedro (his little bro) and his kitties...and they loved him...He got sick so sudden, one day he was here with us and the next he was gone...Gone to be with our angel dogs, to watch over us all till we all meet again...RIP Ziggy, run with the wind!!!

Helping White Dog wipe out canine cancer!!!

Woofs all, hope all is well wiff u...and u gettin excited that santa paws iz comin...we will do a update on mama tomorrow...we thought this wuz very important...

1st). Thanks so much for all the outpouring of love and support from all of u..doggies, kitties, rabbits-dogs, hammies and hoomans..and all we forgot to mention..we appreciate each and every one of u..

2nd). We didnt get the good news we wanted to hear...The specialist does not think mama can survive the surgery to remove the bad part in her lung...her lungs r very weak..they told her years ago that her lungs were like those of someone 20 years older..She also has supicious nodules in her lymphnodes in the middle of her chest....sooo that leaves radiation and chemo..her primary dr is setting up appointments to talk to each of those drs..we figure it will start next week..we will let u know more about how long she needs to have it, when we know more...If any of u have ever had radiation or chemo, she would like to know what to expect..we r not sure if she is suppose to keep the appt to check her thyroid or not..mama read somewhere that the chemo would interfere with it..sooo we have to check on that..mama says she will fight with everything she has to beat this, and some of u on facebook let her know it wasnt just her fight, u all would b beside her..for this, she is so very appreciative..ok, till the nexxt update..

The outpouring of love fur mama has been fantastic, and we all thank you very much!!

Figured we better let all of u nos what is going on...Mama's dr called her Friday, and they set up an appt with a lung, heart, etc specialist...its Wed the 9th...the PET test showed something in the middle of her chest, beside the cancer on her left lung...this appt is to c if she can have the surgery.

when we hear anything new we will pass onto u all...thanks for caring..

My mama's cancer!!!

We a little behind right now, blame mama, we almost 400 behind in bloggie readings....Me is gonna let mama explain what is going on wiff us..

Hi all,

so sorry i am so far behind in stuff...but here goes.....As some of u know, around 2 years ago they found nodules in my left lung..(i have several little ones and one pretty big one) .i was having ct-scans every 3 months to make sure they weren't growing....i did well and then they started letting me go 6mts between ct-scans...The last scan showed the one big one was growing....i was scheduled for a lung biopsy, i got the results last monday....it is cancer...this tuesday the 1st i am to have a full body PET scan...My friend joan of the moondancehuskies, says it is prolly to c if it has spread anywhere else...My doctor is also checking my thyroid, after a ultrasound, it shows i have a nodule...the test for it is scheduled for the 17th of Dec...I will prolly get the results from the PET test next Monday..and then i guess we decide where to go from there...i guess it all rides on what that test sh0ws..I have my good days and i have my bad days...thanks to u all that have given me support and love...and a special thanks to Snowballs jie jie, Joan, Astas mommie, the sundogs of texas mom, butchy and angel snickers mama, the op pack's mom, my farmer friends in facebook that keep me busy so i wont think to much..geesh sooo many of u have helped..and i thank each and every one of u....I will let u all know what the PET says....

Giving Thanks!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you that celebrate it and happy day to those that dont..Today is the day when we remember all we need to b thankful for...our freedom, our family and friends (both furry and not)...we also must give (if we can) to others not as fortunate..and remember those that have lost family, friends and furkids...this is a sad season for some, so we need to lend a shoulder to them...

we will get our tributes to our angel dogs up tomorrow, then this weekend sometime, mama has had some sad news we need to tell u about...
